"Toronto Fringe Festival" New Treat!
I just came across an amazing event! It’s the Toronto Fringe Festival and it’s the last weekend that you can enjoy it before it wraps up for the summer (ends July 17, 2011). This festival seems to have a bit of everything for all to see!
According to their website, “The Fringe Festival, is Toronto’s largest theatre and performance festival. 140+ productions are featured at 25+ venues across the west end of Toronto, drawing more than 70,000 people over 12 days each year. There’s something for everyone, with musicals, comedies, family programming, drama, dance, improv and anything else you can imagine or offer. Don’t miss the Site Specific productions that take place in unexpected locations like backs of cars or down hidden alleys”. That sounds fantastic right?! They also showcase 8 visual artists throughout the week in the first annual, Visual Fringe.
